Your adventure begins in the morning as we leave Marrakech and cross the stunning High Atlas Mountains. Pause to admire the dramatic landscapes and visit traditional Berber villages. Arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed Kasbah famous for its role in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Explore this iconic site with your guide, then continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Snap photos outside the world-famous Atlas Film Studios before heading through the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley. If time allows, visit the striking “monkey toes” rock formations and the winding Dades Gorges road before checking into your hotel.

After breakfast in your charming hotel, we’ll drive through Tinghir and the lush Todra Valley, an oasis of palm trees. In the afternoon, hop on a camel for a scenic trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, stopping to watch a magical sunset from a high dune. Arrive at our luxury desert camp, where you’ll be welcomed with tea and shown to your private tent. After a delicious dinner, gather around a campfire for an evening of Berber music and drumming, with a chance to try playing the drums yourself.

Rise early to catch a serene sunrise over the dunes (highly recommended!). After breakfast, return to Merzouga by 4×4 (or camel, if you prefer).
